CREATE WITH DAVID

David is building a permanent ensembles of excellent performers based in Munich, Germany.

This one of a kind project is based on the vision of creating a work base for clowns and other outstanding performers through offering continuous intensive workshops to refine skills.

The goal is to create theatre fairy tails and magical shows together through ongoing improvisation and creation sessions.

The project will be sponsored. Rehearsals and performances will be paid. We strive to also fundraise the pre-creation time. Accomodation in Vienna will not be covered. Accomodation during tours will be covered.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of creating and influencing the future of clowning and theatre.

YOU

You should be an excellent performer with profound experience in clowning or dance and pantomime. You can come from any form of performance background. If you feel that you have an amazing gift and want to refine your unique skills, we would love to hear from you.

If you love to create and improvise and would like to be part of a very special outcome and show, this might be for you.

All applicants have to join one of David’s workshop series or have to have worked with him in the past. You should be willing, able and committed to work and create on a new show.

Process

  • IN CASE OF ACCEPTANCE WE WILL INVITE YOU TO AUDTION IN MUNICH IN JANUARY 2024

If successful artists must be available for work camps and rehearsals starting in Summer/Autumn 2024 for a minimum of a two year contract.

As this is a pioneer project and we are in the funding stages, details will be revealed as we go along. Applicants will be kept updated and will meet online on a regular basis.

Artists must have a valid passport and be willing to travel and perform in the shows, once they are ready for the stage. Artists must be willing to perform on the streets during creating phase.

    Videos must not be longer than two minutes and we will protect your privacy. The videos will only be watched by David and his assistant.

Preparing your videos, please, keep in mind to keep them short and authentic but most importantly, we need to see how you move and how you use your body when performing (don’t just show your face).
